WTF? I tried one video (and it worked, as referenced in my above message) and then tried it again cuz I thought I had a working product and it's B&W again! I power cycled my phone to no avail, and there's no settings I changed between it not working and now. Not sure what happened, but that one video is good, it's in color!

Actually, I have since security unlocked my device, and it seems to work with color and sound now! :-o I hadn't even though to check the Qik application again. I kept it on the phone cuz I only cuz I would deal with black-white in an emergency.

I have signed up for an account, and even have an inaugural video up, which was when I discovered that it's in B&W. It's strange that my phone works well except for the seemingly minor issue of recognizing the camera as color over black and white. It's such an odd problem.

Anyway, the phone model itself does work, it's just the camera issue. I can record video and upload using the service, but the 'live' feature is appealing, especially as a new user. ;-)

I have the Samsung Propel Pro SGH-i627 and QIK version 2.44. The application itself works great, I can't complain about the interface at all. My only problem is that the camera only records in Black&White. Not color, as it does when I record videos using the built in video recorder application.

I can record videos and upload to QIK (tested and confirmed) but live streaming only comes up in B&W for some reason. Would a different version of QIK possibly resolve this issue? I'm not sure what I can do to assist you in helping to resolve my problem.

Have you tried downloading it and trying it? I have the Samsung SGH-i627 (Propel Pro) and it wasn't officially on their list, but the application worked like a champ on my phone. My only issues is the video is in black and white, not color. Hoping that'll get resolved somehow soon.

I have the i627 (Samsung Propel Pro) and I have the same issue, streaming works fine, but it all comes out B&W. I'm not artistic enough to make black and white work for me. ;-)

Hi, I've just acquired a 1st gen roomba off of craigslist. The women I got it from swore it worked when she last used it, but hasn't used it in quite some time. I have found the instructions for 'resetting' the battery, and am about 6 hours into a charge.

Has there historically been a problem with the power button on the 1st gen roombas? I can't seen to get it to power on , even plugged in. Or should I just wait until the 18-24 hour mark and see if it's charged?
