Another bad case of RTFM! Speaking of which, there should be a way to have the window snap back to its rightful place (and size?). Let me explain:
1. I am feeling playful anfd i move Grape's window around
2. now, I want to put it back in place...
Currently, the only way is to painstakingly aim in order for the window to occupy exactly the place it should occupy.
The window bar is a nice way to move things around, however it is, paradoxically, too window like. Basically there should be some sort of a handle to move the Grape desktop around and a buton/swith to snap it back into place...

Desktop has a window barIs it normal that the grape dextop has a window bar? I know that this way one can move grape's window, but still...

Nice... Is that the start of a flame war? ;-) It seems as if Dockland Software speaks with two mouths: the official and the unauthorized ;-p
To be honest, folders have a very simple function: organize things. Names are important since folders are blue thingies with no features differentiating them. It seems natural to want to label them one way or another. Not all items have a visual representation: how would you visually represent, say, two distinct core dumps?
Furthermore, I'd say many starts at four-five. A desktop, is not a game of memory.
Ceci dit, je vais retourner jouer avec mes petites voitures et bouder un coup, ça soulage ! ;-)

Disabling command-QIt would be nice if one could disable command-Q in grape (via a preference) in order to prevent accidental quitting

Dropping items on the grape desktopWhen dragging and dropping an intem from a Finder window onto Grape, a small icon (representing the item as Finder sees it) appears approximatively where one dropped the item. This icon stays in place until one selects Grape, where it eventuellay appears in the drop-box...
It is as if there was some persistance from the Finder's desktop layout. The same thing happens when one mounts a (distant) volume using the sidebar of a Finder window: an icon representing that volume temporarily appears on Grape...

No click throughWhen clicking on the grape desktop, the first click merely selects grape. So if I want to open a document (or even select it) in grape, I have to clik on grape's backgroud, wait a bit (so the the clik will not be seen as part of a multi-click) and then click/double-click to perform whatever action I had intended to do in the first place.
Couldn't the clik be sent straight to grape i.e. that the same click selects and acts on grape?

Dropping into foldersCould it be possible to be able to move items on folders in order to drop them into the folders?

Folders have no name unless selected.folders on grape's desktop are displayed using their generic icon: there is no way to distinguish them unless one clicks on them. Would it be possible to have an option to display their name (without having to click on them)?
