Amazon Customer Service is HellI purchased a textbook on Amazon.com for my current semester. The book is titled "Cost Accounting 13th Edition". I purchased the book from Amazon.com as the page listed it was new and came WITH MyAccountingLab.
Once the book Arrives it isn't shrinkwrapped with MyAccountingLab there no was the access code ANYWHERE in the box!
A call to Amazon and they refuse to replace the book for me unless I return the book. Even though I informed them that this book was essential for my semester which was already in session.
So far, I've had to purchase this book a second time hoping it has MyAccountingLab AND they credit me back as they claim they will.
If you are a college student I recommend you just buy the text from your local bookstore. Amazon isn't worth the extra hassle.

Audible.com False AdvertisingI recently purchased a textbook, Cost Accounting 13th Edition, which had an ad on the front for Vango Notes. The idea of having an audio overview of a chapter to listen to while biking to supplement my reading seemed like a good idea. I only wanted to ensure it would work on my MP3 player.
The Audible page which lists the product says the files work on ANY MP3 player. After buying and then downloading the files I wasn't able to get them to work at all on my player. Tech support claims the files are only usable on Audible Compatible Devices and that, essentially, their web page is a lie.
Word out to all college students looking to use Vango Notes, stay far away from them.
The product page is: http://www.audible.com/adbl/store/btq...
Just scroll down to "Cost Accounting 13th Edition" or look at the attached screenshot.
