A comment on the problem "Most contacts have a X-IRMC-LUID code in the notes field" in Soocial:

Maybe it can help from your side. Here is an extract (one contact which should have several numbers but only one now on my phone) of the vCard I can download now, and which is the backup of my cellphone after my last sync :

The only field I can see on my phone is the one which is not marked as "type=pref" : so I can only see the WORK phone number for him.

Bart, I've removed all these fields on my AB.
After having deleted all the contacts from my SonyEricsson to update it with arranged contact, I'm now having the issue described here ... http://getsatisfaction.com/soocial/to...

I know you do your best lol, so let just us know when you'll have news on that ;)

I guess they have been imported two weeks ago if I am right.
If there is now easy solution from your side, and if you confirm me they won't appear again (even after several sync between my SonyEricsson phone and my MacBook) I'll remove them manually in my AB.

I also have the same issue after having sync my Sony Ericsson K320i and my Mac Address Book ... :(

Same problem with my Nokia 6600, in France with Bouygues Telecom operator.
