I'm using Boxee for an day now, and I found this project really, but really interesting.
My first worry came very soon, and it's something that can be easily rectified.

The way Boxee manage his index is a little bit cloudy ; We don't know if the indexes are updated at Boxee startup, each day, (or once a year ?? :-P)...
That's why I propose an "Update index" button in the options, that offers you multiple choices of the way you want to update the Index, such as :

== Update all Index ==
== Update indexed files in local disks ==
== Update indexed files in removable disks ==
== Update indexed files in local network ==
...

or
== Update all ==
== Update index 1 ==
== Update index 2 ==
...

When you have selected, a message could appear, saying :
__________________________________________________
update files names and :
[ ] Music data from internet (covers, uncompleted tags...)
[ ] VIdeo data from internet (covers, titles...)
[ ] Pictures tags (read and update tags)
__________________________________________________

Another feature that can be added is the description of each indexes :

how many audio files,video, pictures...
total audio time,
size taken by files that appear in the index
and more...

I let you decide if this is a good idea :)
