asian sortMissing Song Library, Difference between Windows and Linux version
Hello.
I am using Songbird in Windows Vista(64bit) as well as Ubuntu 8.10(64bit), with Korean language pack enabled.
Windows version of Songbird is 32bit, and Linux's one is 64 bit, both are 1.1.1, Build 1018)
I have music library in a folder. Let's say it is located like this.
Windows : E:\Music\MP3\Main
Ubuntu : /Media/Edrive/Music/MP3/Main
Although E:\Music\MP3\Main is NTFS formatted, Ubuntu can mount this NFTS folder with write permission, so this folder is shared with both Windows and Ubuntu without any problem.
When I scanned the folder in Songbird(Windows), the result said that 920 artists were found(1750 albums).
However, I did the same job in Linux version of Songbird, the result was somewhat suspicious. It said it found only 413 artists (1650 albums).
Both Songbirds scanned the same directory, but showed different consequences.
As well, Linux version can not sort the Korean letters appropriately. Western letters can be sort very well, with the new sort system(wisely sort 'a' or 'the'), but Korean letters are not.
All song files that I have are managed and saved by MP3Tag 2.42(http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) with UFT-16.
The missing artists are probably Korean ones, and the files's tags in obviously in Korean. But I am not sure, becausu I have almost 100GB of music files, I could not figure it out who is in the library or not.
Briefly, there are 2 problems in Linux 64bit version. I do not know about the Linux 32bit version of Songbird, because I did not test it.
First, Some Korean(or Asian) tagged music files can not be searched.
Second, Korean letters are not sorted well.

How I startup the Songbird with the playlist?Hi.
I usually use the mini player skins, and I also have my own playlist.
When it's skin is mini player, I close the SongBird(1.0.0) while I am listning to the music from my playlist. And I starup up the SB again.
As I click the play button, the 1st song in the library played, not the 1st song in my playlist.
It does not happen when it's skin is 'main player'.
Is this a bug? Or can the SB always startup with the playlist?
