What about the development of a general web-based user interface for editing? LIke where you could click and remove and add items from the website? I really like the flexibility that I can use email and sms, but I would like it coupled with the convenience of a simple, visual user interface available online that requires no memory of commands or power moves.

You could sort them on normal Sandy front page by using the "Customise" option top right of the daily digest white "page" (i.e. not top of web page, just white area where sandy writes the digest).
In there you can opt to separate out certain tags and they separate out in the order you type them so typing
@1 @2 @3 @4 @5 @Todo @shopping @work etc etc etc
Produces
@1
Pay X
Do Y
@2
Sort out B
@3
Ring Z
etc etc
Also uses this sort in your emailed Daily Digest
For multiple tags you get them in full for the first tag they match then a note at the end of the other tags e.g.
@todo
Do gardening

I tend to use Sandy for the reminder and then attach the url for the specific stikkit that holds the information I need at stikkit.com.
e.g. Remember meeting with Annette - http://stikkit.com/1234567
putting the stikkit in the url field keeps my information with my reminder, but still seperate.

Using @a @b @c @d etc. seems a little terse. Using @low @medium @high doesn't seem right either. I've settled on @priority1 @priority2 etc
The real question is, can I get items with different priorities to show up in different colors? (i.e. appear highlighted.) This is for the web site and the html email.
Sandy does this now with overdue todo items, can this be expanded upon?

I agree. Being able to edit notes would be great. I also want the ability to add "notes" to already existing appointments. I made a suggestion about that. http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...

Howdy,
I just did a little to-do prioritizing to test something out (I'm not a big fan of prioritizing by number or letter or the like myself) and thought I'd post a suggestion here:
Let's say I had Sandy remember 4 to-dos for you, like so:
remember bottom priority thing @todo @e
remember top priority thing @todo @a
remember medium priority thing @todo @c
remember another equally high priority thing @todo @a
(Pretend, of course, that I'd sent these over some period of time by email.)
Now I visit my to-dos by clicking "Your stuff > To-dos" [http://iwantsandy.com/list?type=todo]. I see my to-dos in tag order, but still have a lot of other things mixed in (ex. @todo @home), when what I really want is a list of prioritized to-dos only.
So I select my priority tags from the right-hand sidebar's tag list (a, b, c, d, and e), one at a time.
And I de-select the "todo" tag as otherwise I'll see all my to-dos, not just the prioritized ones.
And then I bookmark that page [http://iwantsandy.com/list?type=todo&...,b,c,d,e,f&sort=tag]. Now any time I want to see my to-dos sorted by priority, I just visit that bookmarked page and there they are. Similarly, to see only those items that are top-priority, I visit http://iwantsandy.com/list?type=todo&...,b&sort=tag .
While I don't usually prioritize things in this way, I do indeed use just this method for keeping track of my fixmes (if you're a programmer, you know what I mean ;-):
http://iwantsandy.com/list?type=todo&...
And things I've been meaning to get to around the house:

Enjoy!

“it would also be nice to have the ability to edit notes”
this is a pretty big omission in my experience. I send the appt info in the subject line and fill the body of the message with all the info I need for that particular task. if anything changes, I either have to send another appt as an addendum or delete the task and resend. this is big enough to keep me from fully incorporating Sandy into my daily task management.
