I had the same problem. As I described here:

when I though it was mainly a problem with the admin rights.
I just installed

now twhirl seems to work.
(Hopefully off-topic: Probably it's unrelated when I had installed the twhirl beta Spybot complaint about firefox.exe being infected by SpyKill. I can't find the fitting registry-key nor the fitting process, so I guess and hope that it's been a false positive by SpyBot. And I did install two firefox AddOns yesterday (both are available on addons.mozilla.org so I don't think they can be the problem) Dunno.)-

I'll take a look at this when I next get a chance. The API docs at snipurl aren't very detailed - do you know if this uses HTTP basic authentication, so if I make an API call providing credentials, this will be automatically appearing under that user's account? – Mario Menti, on April 29, 2008 07:17
