Did you see that su.pr has added a way to send your feeds from StumbleUpon to Twitter and Facebook. I am told it worked for a couple of weeks; however, it has stopped working again.
Bill reported it to su.pr at http://getsatisfaction.com/stumbleupo... and you can support requesting a fix there. Note that this may be an issue on Twitter's end instead of su.pr.
TwitterFeed will lose market share if su.pr gets theirs working before TwitterFeed adds support for su.pr.
For those who want to know, use this feed format to send the first 140 characters of your review text to Twitter using TwitterFeed:
http://rss.stumbleupon.com/user/growm...
This creates better Tweets than using the normal feed.

GrowMap replied on November 11, 2009 21:53 to the question "Su.pr Twitter RSS Post Failure" in StumbleUpon:
I tested this function today and confirm that it is not working. This is the solution we've been hoping for to integrate activities started on the StumbleUpon toolbar with su.pr so I hope there is a fix in the works.
In the meantime we can use TwitterFeed with a StumbleUpon RSS review feed format of http://rss.stumbleupon.com/user/useri... [where userid = your SU name] but su.pr is not one of the options TwitterFeed supports so it is not as good a solution.
NOTE: that is NOT the usual feed format - this one feeds the first 140 characters of your review text minus the number needed for the link. This results in a better Tweet than using the normal RSS feed from StumbleUpon.
We have also repeatedly suggested that TwitterFeed add su.pr as an option. That would work too. Support that request at http://getsatisfaction.com/twitterfee...
A comment on the idea "I don't like the new interface" in StumbleUpon:
There is no site better than StumbleUpon for quickly finding others who are interested in what you most value in life. You can visit the page for any keyword tag and immediately see the best content that has been shared and who shared it. Have a new interest and want to know more about it? Just go to that page. When I switched to Ubuntu I found the Ubuntu page and through it the Stumblers who shared the best content about Ubuntu. SU is beyond just Social - it does what no other site does - makes it easy to find experts on any subject. Whatever they do I just hope they don't eliminate that. – GrowMap, on October 29, 2009 17:48

I do hope you're planning to keep working to fix the bugs. The new system severely reduces productivity because it no longer allows us to efficiently use Photo BlogIt to add an image without losing any excerpts or comments we have already made. At least they're all still visible on the page and we can copy/paste to get it all back together.
While many will complain about any change because change means increased learning curves and stress please realize that some of us welcome POSITIVE changes and care enough to share feedback because we love StumbleUpon and use it all day almost every day.
GrowMap replied on October 28, 2009 19:47 to the idea "I don't like the new interface" in StumbleUpon:
Why force us onto the new system when it is still so buggy? How many times do we want to spend time adding images, comments, and tags only to lose it all repeatedly?
Have you ever considered having your power users test and provide feedback so you could fix the bugs BEFORE you force us to use a system that simply does NOT work?-

I keep coming back here hoping TwitterFeed will add su.pr. Have you seen the post in Tim Ferriss' Four Hour Work Week blog about it:
http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/...
The reason we need su.pr is that it multiplies the traffic what we share gets. If TwitterFeed supported it we could reach far more readers with the one action of writing a review at StumbleUpon.
Without support we really need to use both su.pr and the StumbleUpon toolbar which then causes duplicate content and double the time spent to accomplish the same task.
