Honestly, the only thing holding me back from switching to something else is Hootsuite's ability to schedule a tweet. Rumor has it some of the others are considering professional tweeting packages similar to Hootsuite's so if they offer that function in a for-pay ackage, I just might subscribe.

Thanks Chris, you're exactly right. It's a saved search. I can't send a message to just the group, the group doesn't have a way to talk amongst themselves that doesn't show up on the general timeline, and third party utilities are still the best way to control how much you see of each group. Twitter missed the mark on this one.

I'm already using bit.ly on TweetDeck so I've got lots of stats for my tweets there. Not being able to pull those in is a definite disadvantage of using HootSuite. Guess I'll try it for a while and decide whether to go back to TweetDeck.

All I'm looking for is to separate what is searchable from what is not. That when I tweet, I can choose to have my tweets only visible to people who are following me. Twitter is the fastest growing "personal branding" web site out there. Just because I thought a Simpsons YouTube video was interesting and I wanted to share it with friends on Twitter doesn't mean that I want that to be seen as part of my "brand."

Added several scenes to my Shopping list (version 0.7a): What A Pair, Crushes Cum True, Twat Thrusts. NA Direct confirmed having added each of thme. Then I went to my Shopping List: No items in shopping list.

Hmmm... that ain't right.

It's not just at the beginning. In my case, I was also downloading some new videos I'd purchased so that might be slowing it down... one would hope Adobe Air can take advantage of my other processor core but if it's strictly single-threaded that might explain the sluggishness.

If you click on the volume bar in the preview pane, it takes a couple of seconds to respond. If you try to drag the volume down, it takes even longer.

On the plus side, I'm seeing the TransLink machines at most of the Caltrain stations. translink.org confirms this, and that testing has begun, but it's still not generally available.

I would love to not have to buy 10-ride tickets any more in hopes of using all of them up before the thing expires. Also would love to not ever have to worry about a validation machine failing to punch my ticket.

Previews in "Best Of NA" category won't play

Previews in the "Best of" category always stall the app for a while, until it times out. Maybe there aren't any previews there... but still it should handle that a little more gracefully (e.g. greyed out Preview button).

I think NA Live should be for paid subscribers only, but the rest would make the tool much more usable.
