I'm just reconciling my freeagent bank balance (manual credits and debits) to my bank balance with my bank. I need to adjust the freeagent bank balance to make the account balance now match that with my other bank balance! Is there any way to do this without adjusting my company accounts? ie in opening balances section of settings? When I try and adjust anyof the sections under opening balances, it adjusts my accounts and doesnt affect the bank balance! Any help appreciated.

One last thing. Would it be too complicated to put somewhere on the invoice the description of the service being provided? It doesn't actually state on the invoice what it's for.

Hi guys - just about to enrol for the full subscription with AMEX. I'm tripping up at the '3 digit number on the back of the card' thing. AMEX has 4 digits and it is coming up as error ..... any ideas? Cheers, Gavin

Hey Dennis - the reason was exactly that - snapshot for printing, marking up and making changes accordingly before submitting to accountant for his review. I must admit, its not very important as it can be printed anyway. Just thought if it could be pdf'd would be neat!

I agree Ed ..... I printed a sample and its not bad, apart from a couple of text areas such as 'up to top of summary'. I was thinking of some kind of 'save as pdf' function such as you have for invoicing. That would be cool!

sorry, but I gotta pass comment on this. albeit not constructive by any means ..... it sounds like you are working for your accountants and not the other way around!! Who's the client?!? I would tell them that that is the format that they will receive the accounting info!

Hi Ed, to be honest, it works the way it is .... I just put 8hrs in for a day and 4 if I charge a half day. I dont bother tracking the actual hours I work. One place where I would have found it useful was for running a timesheet 'report' where it spits out how many 'hours' I worked on that project, albeit I worked that project in days ... I just divide the hours by 8, thats all!

It's not a real problem, just a nice to have reporting function.
