I like it.. I think I like it because my nieces have stopped emailing me and texting me but facebook me instead.. this way they can "facebook" my Dad and Mum, so its immediacy is good. I'm not sure my parents would "get" the phone retrieval though.. Do people get notification that there is a message for them? I'm sorry Gavin.. I'm a bit slow!

I like the concept but I don't think I would really have any use for this service. The fact that the receiver has to call a number in Manchester puts me off, first off. I would rather just text my grandma and grandad's phone from my mobile to leave a computer voice message on their answering machine or ring them.

Urgh. I don't have IE6 on the computer I'm using so I can't be of any use anymore. Maybe one of your developers has it (or will install it - although I know that would desanctify your Macs)? I have IE7 and Microsoft doesn't let you downgrade their products.

It's the international version: +44 7786 201 244

You don't need to worry about the prefix (name:)when sending SMS messages. The content of the SMS will go straight into the membleline fine.

Our mobile partner tells me you should be able to send SMS to Rememble from Canada. Let me know if this is not the case.

I think you may have trouble sending MMS from Canada but SMS should work fine. Please let me know how you get on.

From our FAQs:

"Rememble currently supports uploading MMS and SMS via mobile from these countries:

Albania, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech rep, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of man, Italy, Ivory coast, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Moldovia, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, SouthAfrica, Spain, Sri lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine.

Other countries - notably Ireland and the US - you can upload SMS but not MMS at the current time. We are working hard on getting this set up as soon as possible. "

Sending from Canada and it didn't seem to work. No worries though - was just a picture of my room to see if Rememble would receive it/how to send text messages on my phone. :)

The image will just be sent to your membleline without a title that you'd normally give it with the name: tag. It would come up with the name of the image - typically IMG0115.jpg or something similar.

Did it work out for you ok in the end? We know there are some issues if you are sending from the US for example.
