Weighing in that I miss this feature. I have a post about it coming soon (probably more than one). I realize that Twitter has said they don't plan to bring it back as it was, but I truly think they should reconsider that, and bring back this feature, which was always opt in (and yes, I do think that way more then 3% used it). My Twitter stream is way too quiet.

Me too. Lost over 200, trying to add them manually but it is going to take a while. Many Friends gone, replace with spambots I'd previously blocked. Not. Happy.
