Improve the web based toolbar for mobile devices.

I just bought a very cool Motorola Droid on Friday, November 6th. It has a full HTML5 compliant Webkit based browser and surprise surprise, the web based StumbleUpon toolbar WORKS! However, I would like to see if you guys could improve on it a bit so that it detects mobile devices and the toolbar fits better on smaller screens. :) I like being able to Stumble from anywhere now.

I mean, you guys took away our friends, the similarity meters and other "matchmaking" options. StumbleUpon was WAY more social back in 2005 than it is now.

No, that's not useful. Especially since I downloaded the .xpi file to my drive from addons.mozilla.org and it still would not install. However, the "beta" .xpi from stumbleupon.com works just fine. So it's not a local profile or firefox problem.

Automatically perform monthly maintenance on the userXXXXXX.sqlite file.

I was doing maintenance on the other .sqlite files in my Firefox profile and noticed that the userXXXXXX.sqlite file in my StumbleUpon directory was 30,317,568 bytes.

After performing a 'VACUUM' command on the sqlite database file, I dropped the size to 29,530,112 bytes.

Firefox 3.7, when it is released early next year, will automatically do this kind of maintenance on it's own files so I think that the StumbleUpon toolbar should do this kind of maintenance on it's own files as well.

I cannot install the 3.52 release of the Firefox toolbar. I keep getting an error that says:

But if I go to http://www.stumbleupon.com/beta/stumb..., this version installs just fine.

Here's something interesting I felt necessary to point out. The su.pr click count is overinflated and flat out wrong. In fact, I think it is lying to us. :)

When I post something to twitter from my su.pr account, within seconds, it has 10 or 15 clicks.

When I post something from bit.ly to my twitter account, this doesn't happen.

You can't tell me this is from bots and other services scraping twitter feeds because it only happens with su.pr and not other services.

Care to explain yourself su.pr?

It's been down for me for about 24 hours. They can't say it's impacting other Twitter clients this time because bit.ly is working 100%.

su.pr doesn't remember choices to post to

When I uncheck an account to post to using su.pr, it doesn't remember the choices. It always rechecks one of the other accounts and I end up inadvertently posting to it. Please fix this.

The funny thing about all of this is that SU released v4 to be more social, but they removed the word "friends" from the site.

I think we should just do away with the topics altogether and just rely on the tag system. I am subscribe to way more tags than I am topics anyways. :)

I would love to be able to group my subscriptions into categories so I know why I subscribed to them in the first place. Also being able to sort them would be great so I could clean out my list of people that haven't logged in during the last 3 months or whatever. :)

I think that 500 subscriptions is too low especially when some of the people that I subscribe too are not as active as I am. I would love to see the subscription cap increased to 750 or 1000 so that I can get a wider variety of stumbles. :)
