ninja sunbelt definition updateAre Ninja "Sunbelt Antispam" updates not working? I'm getting the Cloudmark ones ok as well as the antivirus plugin updates. Last Sunbelt antispam plugin update was listed as 2008-08-17 5:30.
Ninja sent me notifications that the definitions are over 24 hours old.

Tried using blank ports as suggested but problem still exists. Attempted Sent email sits in outbox with, strangely, no date (date = 'none'). – geezlouise, on August 18, 2008 18:48

Hibernation. Which writes memory to disk and powers off laptop, so not like it has any power going to the laptop. By design, I could even remove battery and it would remain in hibernation state. – geezlouise, on August 01, 2008 19:54

I would thing that auto updates and scans would be a default scenario. If that somehow causes a powered off computer to come back on, I think that would be a serious problem. – geezlouise, on August 01, 2008 18:34

I've uninstalled product. But they suggested the following:
We may have a solution for you. If your outlook account is using SSL security, then please change the port numbers in VIPRE to blank numbers. You will get an error message that says that you have entered an invalid port number. Just click ok and the port will remain blank. Once this is set, please click ok on the AV email settings and then ok again on the VIPRE settings. Please let me know how this works out for you. Yes, your email should still be scanned by VIPRE.
Thank you,

Frequent popups on file access, no way to teach vipreWhen enable "Check files when they are opened..." feature, i get frequent popups "Vipre Notification: On File Access" telling me that an unknown file was allowed to open. BUT no way to add the file to an allowed list, so it keeps popping up unless i disable checking files when they are opened. Is this a bug?
