Didn't work. Still receiving the papers. How many trees and paper are being wasted by all this? I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want to receive these newspapers. – gellenburg, on June 25, 2008 13:46

Mint can't handle communication errors with FI's.A single connection error prompts me to re-enter my login information? GAH! Extremely inconvenient and a royal pain in the patootie.
Let me elaborate - Mint had a problem logging into my Discover card account.
Now, I *know* the credentials are correct, because I use Mint just about daily, and I log into Discover just about daily, but instead of having a link to "retry" clicking on that link prompts me to set up the account all over again (from within Mint). It wouldn't be so bad if it was just a username and password, but I also have to remember which secret questions and answers, too. Argh!
If you're concerned that too many login attempts may lock out someone's account, fine. Say so, but give me the option to proceed and request that you simply retry the login with the same credentials. Why force me to start back at square one?
Odds are theres was a hiccup either in the EDI feed or the screen scraping that you're doing, and to waste my time to re-set everything back up is a royal inconvenience.
Thanks.

Hello, Gellenburg. Thanks for your note. Occasionally due to human error a "stop" is accidentally pulled back onto the distro, but this is easily remedied and I'm happy to help. Removing you from distro will not be a problem. I'd be happy to zip your info over to customer care myself, but they'll need your address and as this is a public forum, so for security reasons, best not to post here. Customer Care will be happy to help, though-- they can be reached at 404 522 4141, and be sure to bypass the auto message and dial 0 to speak directly to a customer care rep; they're available during normal business hours. Thanks again for writing.

How to stop the "free" newspaper deliveries? What must somebody do to prevent the "free" Thursday newspapers from being delivered, wasting trees, and from littering my front lawn?
I've already called — at least a year ago — and spoke with several employees in the Customer Service organization who assured me the papers would stop.
Yet they continue.
Wasting trees.
Wasting water turning those trees into paper.
Polluting the environment.
And littering my front lawn.
I don't read the newspaper.
I get all my news "online".
All I'm asking is for the deliveries to stop.
I didn't sign up for them.
Is that too much to ask?
