It's easy to use.
You go to the movie maker page and the first thing it's select the background and the sky and click next. Then you select a plot, the plot is how the caracters interact. You can choose two or one caracter too. Then when you select the caracters you want, type the text. You can add only 3 scenes. When you click "Finish movie", choose a title design, type in the "movie name" a name for the movie and in the "director's name" type your name or a nick. Click "Preview & send movie" and then you watch a preview of your movie. If there's any mistake or any word you need to change, click back to the scene you want to change something wrong or mistaken. When You Have your movie already finish, you can send it to friends...or to yourself. I always send it to myself :p. Type you email at the "Recipient Name", "Recipient Email" and "Your Email" and click "Send"

If you want to save the movie to your computer, you will need a program to capture flash. I use "Hycam2"

About the characters, I didn't know that, and of your question I'm thinking an idea. The people who likes make dvolver films and want to make their own character,can make a picture of a character and sent it to your site in the link of "contact" and then make it?. As a sample, This Is a link of a picture of one from my drawings. It is in my hi5 site. Can it be posible?
