to all: In X-marks, I found something interesting regarding the bookmarks I had that were unresponsive.
I did the preview function, and the corrupted bookmarks were actually of a different web site, not the site I had book marked. The sites were advertisement sites, something like pop ups that you see now and then, such as lose weight now, find a classmate now, make money from home, and so forth.
