Right up the top of the page in big bold letters I'm told:
"AVG Anti-Virus
The 3rd most popular anti-virus tool on Windows"
With the words "anti-virus tool" being a link.
So I think "OK, so what's the 1st most popular?" so I click on the "anti-virus tool" link and I'm presented with a list of the "Most used" anti-virus tool with AVG being number 1. This situation happens a lot and it's really confusing. How do I find the list of most popular for a certain category? What am I missing?

Update... I just received the "You or someone you know entered a request for an account at MilkandCookies.com a few days ago. This is a reminder email, please use this link to activate your new account:" email. Just to double check, I did a search of "from:milkandcookies.com" in both my gmail inbox and spam box, however only this email showed up. Very strange.

Signup email not being sent to certain addressesI have signed up for an account and did not receive the validation email even though I received the following message:
"Your new account has been created, and an email has been sent with an activation code to the email address you provided. Check out the lastest headlines while you wait for your email! "
I have waited about half an hour and have checked my spam directory every time (even though Gmail is yet to ever send a registration email to my spam folder). I believe this has happened to me at least twice now, although I cant be sure about the first instance as my memory of it is a bit foggy. I suspect this may have also been why I've never had an account at your site, but I can't be certain.
I can not provide my email address on this page however it was in the form of:
my gmail username (which contains a period) followed by "+mlknckies@gmail.com" (without quotes)
ie. [usernameWhichContainsAPeroid]+mlknckies@gmail.com

POSSIBLE CAUSE: My email both times contained addition (+) and period (.) characters which may not be understood correctly by the signup script. My wild stab in the dark would be that the addition character is being translated into a space via some sort of urldecode function.

Hmm that's strange. I searched through my google mail for a registration email from M&K (using the terms "milk cookies" and "milkandcookies" ) but could not find anything. However the registration issue was dated as fixed 12 days ago:

If the system works as planned, the only thing I can think of is that I entered the email address incorrectly, but that it actually was a valid email and the person who received it then proceeded to confirm the registration. Otherwise it would have been automatically deleted by the time I tried to re-signup yesterday.
Edit: I think I know what the issue is. I just tried signing up again and received the message "Your new account has been created, and an email has been sent with an activation code to the email address you provided. Check out the lastest headlines while you wait for your email! ". However I have not received the email. I suspect I know what the cause, so I'll lodge another bug report in a moment.
Oh well, either way, thank you for deleting the account for me.

Residual account error from the signup issueIs it possible to delete the accounts that were created during the signup issue as they (along with their associated email addresses) are all now unusable for login and yet unavailable during signup.
Example:
I signed up with a username "gerrywastaken" when your signup form was broken.
Now when I try to login with it I cant as it was never validated.
When I enter it into the forgotten password form I get the message:
"We cannot find a user with that name or email. Please [ Contact Us ] and we will try to help you out."
However when I try to sign up with the same name I am told:
"Username already taken"
and the email is also already taken.

Firstly I am making the assumption that you are the user "eviemilo" on Buzka.
I looked into the your account and the database, all appears to be in order. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps you moved the bookmarks into another folder and are looking at a cached version of the Organise page. If you give me a specific example of a bookmark that is missing I can look further into this.
