Done! Please let me know how it goes. Should anything bother you and you feel it's best to switch back to non-Beta, please let me know. As a member of the Beta Program, feel free to read http://beta.typepad.com - it's where we blog about the Beta features. – Geysa, on September 10, 2009 23:09

Hi Frosty, can you provide us with the blog URL you had? I can check into this and make sure your paid subscription is canceled.
Just keep in mind that when you cancel a paid subscription, we still let you keep your free TypePad profile so that you may comment on TypePad blogs and follow other TypePad bloggers.
A comment on the problem "Google account link as commenter name" in Six Apart:
Hi Albert, in order for this to go away, the commenter will need to change his/her name on his/her Profile. We had an issue with Google registrations a few months back, where the name of the account was replaced by the user's Google URL. We fixed this issue for new registrations, but for accounts that had already been set up we can't overwrite their names. However, the user can easily change their Display Name on their profile, which will then be reflected on your blog. – Geysa, on September 10, 2009 16:35

Yes, the blog looks fine in Firefox. I guess I misunderstood your question. Can you clarify what you mean by the "post" page? Are you referring to the Compose screen? – Geysa, on September 09, 2009 22:19

Can you share the URL? I can try and visit your blog using Firefox and see if I see the same issue. – Geysa, on September 09, 2009 21:55
Geysa replied on September 09, 2009 21:31 to the question "Need Help Modifying a Theme with CSS!" in Six Apart:
I'm not a design expert, but I think you can change the font for the "main" link by using the following:
.content-nav p {
color: #999999;
font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Verdana, sans-serif;
}
Of course, you would need to change the color to whatever color you want, and the do the same for the font family. If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll try to get one of our designers to take a look.

Hi Carolyn, we should be offering this feature to all users in the coming month. If you don't want to wait, simply let me know your TypePad blog URL and I'll put you in the Beta program. If you don't like it, it's easy for me to switch you back. – Geysa, on September 09, 2009 18:01

if you want to give access to a friend, invite him/her as a guest author to your second blog. Your friend will have access to post and manage comments on their posts and will not see your stuff.
However, guest authors don't have access to change the design of the blog. This feature is available for Business Class accounts only.

I use a search widget from Lijit in my blog. It allows me to customize the colors and fonts to match the design of my blog. It also sends me weekly search stats. For more information, click here http://www.lijit.com/signup/start/typ...
Geysa replied on September 04, 2009 16:20 to the problem "Typepad does not share all my posts with Facebook" in Six Apart:
Hi Albert, we launched some tweaks to TypePad yesterday, based on the guidelines we received from Facebook. You should be able to share your posts to Facebook without any problems, and in the odd case something goes wrong, we have improved our logging mechanism so we can track these posts. Please give it a try and let me know if you're succeeding in sharing your posts. I really want to ensure all is working for you.
As always, thanks for your patience while we worked with Facebook on this issue.

Hi Norman,
I checked your account and all seems normal. Here are the steps I took:
-> Click on Library->TypeLists
-> Find an album TypeList such as "Now Listening To"
-> Click "Add an Item"
-> In the "Quick Add" field, enter "Pearl Jam" as the keyword
-> Click Go
Below is a screenshot of what I see. Can you tell me at which point these steps don't work for you?
