Twitter isn't officially supported by Pidgin, but I've used the microblog-purple plugin to add Twitter support. You can find it here:

There's several plugins to add Twitter support to Pidgin, but the one I mentioned above is listed at pidgin.im as a good Twitter plugin. To see more protocols, check out this page:

Hope this helps.

gfactor asked a question in MediaComplete on March 22, 2009 19:14:
Is there a way to choose a Bible verse in V4 using just the keyboard?I'm evaluating MediaShout V4 for our church after using Mediashout 2.5 for almost 3 years. Our good techies have gotten used to choosing Bible verse in 2.5 using the keyboard to get verses really fast. 3 letters for the book, Tab, chapter, Tab, verse, Tab, Alt+F, and it's up in less than 3 seconds.
However, choosing a verse in V4 requires precise control of the mouse and a large enough screen. Working off the 1280x800 screen on my laptop, the book list and the chapter list for Psalms are cut off, and the scrolling functions of both my touchpad and an external mouse don't work. This means I can't see all of the books.
I realize this could be just something I need to get used to, but I can't see how this new mouse method could be both faster and more accurate than my older keyboard method. Perhaps I'm missing something, like a quick shortcut or option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

gfactor replied on March 22, 2009 18:56 to the problem "Can't install trial version- DirectX prob" in MediaComplete:
I have the same problem. I've installed the trial on my laptop (XP Pro, with internet) and I'm trying to install it on my church computer (Vista Home Premium, no internet). On my laptop, DirectX updated with no problem. On my church computer, the update failed (obviously) and pointed me to an installer. Like Mr. Williams, that installer was just the basic DirectX 9.0c installer, which didn't do a thing in Vista.
I tried downloading the DirectX November 2008 update, but I didn't get time to install it yet. I'm guessing that MediaShout V4 requires some recent update to DirectX, but the installer doesn't mention which one at all. Could someone tell us which package to download to ensure that MediaShout V4 can install without being connected to the internet?-
