make e-mail notification a digest

Please consider making e-mail notifications work like a digest. I realize that this is not the best option, since there's a loss in real-time messaging, but still it'd be an improvement. The problem is that if e.g. Bob comments on two files in a very short time, Anna won't get a notification e-mail for both of them and might miss the latter one because she hasn't been notified.

To cut a long story short it's a service similar to the features on this website.

Uhm, no? Actually the update I installed JUST YET broke the functionality completely. Now it doesn't display anything, not even the "hover-box".
