Update. A corrupt copy of the file was found in a server in the east coast. This likely caused the issue. Please try again. One detail, your browser may have cached a copy of the corrupt file. To get a fresh copy visit

then follow the following instructions to refresh:
For IE use the following 3 key combination: Shift + Ctrl + F5
For Firefox use: Hold down Shift and click reload.

In the past we've seen issues with servers in some locations caching a bad copy of this file. Please try the following urls:

and
http://pub.widgetbox.com/flash/instal...
if the two pages look different, try viewing the 2nd one again and click shift+reload or ctrl+reload and try again. Please let us know if this helps. We are continuing to investigate.

Hello Suggestor, Thanks for posting the update. We did identify the issue yesterday an fixed the hardware device that was corrupting files. There could be users who have the corrupted copy on their local computer, we will be pushing a software fix to address that this morning. A comment on the problem "can't proceed with make blidget and rss feed url input" in Widgetbox:
It sounds like you have an old script file cached in FF3. Can you go to the homepage of widgetbox. Click and hold shift while and click reload in the browser then try loggin in again. If that does not work please let us know and we can do more diagnostics on Monday when the full support is in in that case please email support at widgetbox.com with an update. Tony and Keeley. we Have been working with our network providers all day trying to address these issues. Can you please try these steps again. I am hoping the bad files have finally been removed from all servers.
1. visit this page: http://pub.widgetbox.com/flash/instal... (do you see anything?)
2. then hold down shift and reload that page (you should see our installer w/ a error message)
3. then go back to the widget and click the get widget button again.
If that doesn't work please tell me what page (URL) you are trying to get the widget from.

Your pro status looks fine but I will confirm with support on Monday. We did have some issues with some script files being served to people this morning. So you may want to try one more time now.
