Hi,
The issue was your feed pointed to an html content page not rss/atom. I updated it to this feed, http://denver.1thingus.com/blog/feed which now works. The html content was here: http://denver.1thingus.com/blog/rknig.... The widget looks good now assuming that is the correct feed.

Hi Sarah, Dave will take care of this, but he needs the information above. Please give him your original order number and the name of the Blidget you'd like to use. Let us know if you need help getting this information. Thanks. – giles, on March 30, 2009 16:39

I am sorry to be unclear. I meant update the support ticket and the get satisfaction thread. I'm sure we can get it all straightened out when the normal support staff is back tomorrow. It would help if you send the links to the widget you want to keep. Is it http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/gods-... ? Thanks. – giles, on March 30, 2009 02:09

giles replied on March 30, 2009 01:39 to the question "Widget is BLAH, paid $30 for ads to be removed...why aren't they? HELP!" in Widgetbox:
Hello, I will share this information with the support team tomorrow about the blidget pro you purchased and deleted and they will work through that issue with you. I wanted to give some answers to your questions if they are helpful:
1. ads in blidget pro. I believe you are referring to the get widget button at the bottom. You can disable this button in a pro blidget using the editor. There should be no ads in the pro blidget unless they are in your feed.
2. Getting the widget to look good. There are 2 options for adding images to the blidget. You can either ad a "header image" or you can create a custom background image. Adding the header image is easier but less flexible. Are you still having issues making the blidget look how you'd like or have you addressed that with the new blidget?
Sorry for the delay on response, we're a bit short staffed this weekend and generally only support operational issues on weekends if they arise.

giles replied on March 29, 2009 23:41 to the question "Blogger feed not accessible?" in Widgetbox:
Hello, I'm very sorry you are having this issue. I've been trying to understand what's going wrong for quite a while now but am sorry to say I don't have an answer yet. The feed is coming up fine everywhere but not from our servers. From what I can tell this is limited to your feeds for some reason. I will continue to investigate this but may need to get help from one of our network engineers.
If you would like to get this working right away. You can burn your feed with feedburner and use that new url as the source of the blidget. Here's how:
1. go to http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/home and choose blog
2. sign in if needed (it is a google product so you can use that login)
3. choose to burn your feed and give it a name
4. get the new feed url and use it as the feed url for the blidget
Hope this helps, I will update this ticket with new information as we have it. Please let us know if you try the feedburner approach.
giles replied on March 29, 2009 23:07 to the question "Feed no longer accessable" in Widgetbox:
Hi,
It showed up not available because the feed url set in the blidget was not returning the feed (just a 404 code):
http://www.ukmusicscene.org.uk/feeds/...
I've updated your widget to use your new feedburner feed. For future reference i clicked on "more options" next to Recent Posts and changed the feed url there.
Hope this works fine. Thanks for using Widgetbox.
giles replied on March 29, 2009 22:50 to the question "Qs about blog and calendar feed, and widget edits" in Widgetbox:
Hi, the way the blidget works is it takes the RSS/Atom feed from LJ or Google and uses the dates and links in them. I don't know how flexible those feeds are, but if you get them to link or have the dates you like the Blidget will inherit them. Sorry I don't have specific information on either 3rd party product, but maybe someone else on Get Satisfaction may know more about those. We will also ask some Widgetbox employees who may know more during business hours tomorrow.
As for your questions about the editing of the bildget. You should see every change right away. Also, you should not have to reinstall the blidget to see changes. It sounds like it may be a caching issue. Can you let us know which Browser and Version you are using? Also, can you provide the URL of the page you are putting the widget on?

giles replied on March 29, 2009 03:42 to the question "Cannot edit widget" in Widgetbox:
We are not having any issues loading that page. A few questions:
1. are you talking about the entire page or just the widget that doesn't show up?
2. what general location are you in? (For example I'm in Northern California.)
3. which browser and if you have it version are you using?
also you may try reloading while holding down the shift key to refresh your copy of all files on that page.
A comment on the problem "it is not letting me get my widget code" in Widgetbox:
usually that happens when css on your page shifts it or under some other circumstances with the widget. if you send me a link to your page or the widget i'll be happy to help. You can email that to support at widgetbox.com if you don't want to post here. Thanks so much for helping us figure this out today. – giles, on March 20, 2009 04:36
