Gina Trapani replied on December 11, 2008 04:30 to the problem "Better Gmail 2: Redesigned Skin breaks Gmail's labels" in Gawker Media Tech:
Hi everyone--first, so sorry to not get back sooner. Here's the deal: the Gmail Redesigned style, for a reason I haven't been able to identify, doesn't work the same way within the Better Gmail extension structure as it does as a standalone style, or within the official Globex Google Redesigned extension.
So, I'm officially dropping it from Better Gmail 2, since Globex, the creators of Redesigned, have their own official extension which works as it's intended and updates a lot faster than I can keep up in Better Gmail 2.
Here's where to install Google Redesigned. My apologies for the trouble.

Hey there,
Best way to report someone you think should be banned is to just send us an email to tips at lifehacker, or post it here, like you did. True, Levio91 isn't the most useful commenter in the world, but s/he isn't quite a troll or spammer, either. Obviously the lines are blurry, but either way we really appreciate readers like you who let us know when someone's dead weight.

Hi there, I'll take a shot at your questions.
1. Waol.exe is your AOL software, right? I don't use AOL myself, but this sounds like an issue with them and not us (though I can't verify that since I'm not running it, my apologies.)
2. A. Can you give us a screenshot of what you're seeing? I'm not sure I know what page sections you mean.
Thanks!

Hmm, not that I know of off the top. I love FileBox eXtender, but as you said, it only adds buttons, not a search box. Here are some of our favorite Windows Explorer tweaks, but no search box. We'll keep an eye out.

We've got lots of lists of best apps, but it depends on what you're looking for. Windows? Mac? Linux? To get you started, here's:
