gkamin replied on June 01, 2009 11:10 to the question "Mac Mini - which one should I buy for Boxee?" in boxee:
hi there,
boxee runs perfectly on both mac mini and appleTV. however, if money isn't an issue, we do suggest you go for the mac mini option, since with a mac mini you can get HD video which you won't get on appleTV, plus there are some applications still not working on the appleTV (such as netflix for example).
regarding the model of the mac mini, as long it's one of the intel-based mac minis, then either should work just fine.
those previous generation mac minis are now to be found for great prices compared to their original cost.

hey there,
to delete your boxee account, please proceed to http://app.boxee.tv/user/delete. after entering your password and confirming your request, your account will be deleted and all information relating to it removed from our database.
please note that while you can register again for an account in the future, we will not be able to retrieve any past activity for you.
cheers

gkamin replied on April 23, 2009 08:51 to the problem "The usage of the "Back" (backspace) button/key is inconsistent." in boxee:
hi there,
first thing's first - no need for a cheat sheet. when you open boxee, just before logging in, check out the "user guide" next to the exit option.
there you have keyboard most common keys for boxee.
that's where you'll also see that the actual back button on boxee is the esc button and not backspace.
cheers,

gkamin replied on April 20, 2009 12:20 to the question "How do I remove old, stalled downloads?" in boxee:
hi there,
first of all, you can just click on each item in the download area on boxee and then select "remove".
if you want to deal directly with the files, then there are two relevant locations for the torrent files:
temporary files during download are located at ~/Library/Application Support/UserData/Torrents
files boxee finished downloading are located at ~/Downloads/Boxee
make sure you close boxee before deleting anything.
note that if you haven't enabled viewing of hidden files on your mac, then you might need to delete the entire Torrents folder under UserData, in order to remove the torrents from the download area within the boxee application.
cheers
