Ah, I didn't realize it was sucking in any settings from the WP comments section. I thought it was a wholesale replacement.

Comment link text in WordPress reads as Intense Debates' default Comments (X) even though I changed and saved it to be No Comments / One Comment / X Comments in misc settings.

Any ideas?

Gravatars In Imported Guest Posts Missing?

Not sure if this is a bug or if I missed a setting.

I understand that guest comments support Gravatars but all the guest comments I just imported from WordPress are showing up as the default icon in my comment list BUT if I 'expand' any user who has a gravatar I'll see their gravatar in the pop-up window's recent comments of that user.

Did I miss something to get the guest Gravatars to show up?

Please give option for Guest post email subscriptions to default to OFF. Currently it defaults to on and is easily overlooked and AFIAK I can't change that behaviour. What I don't want happening is the user to miss this then assume we're spamming them when the follow-up emails start arriving.
