I'm on 5.2.3 and I was one of the people with a problem with the clock display (my issue is on here from before - Jennifer was helping then). My problem was two-fold...one was the problem I'm describing, the other is that the clock would shut down, but the other zones were fine - that problem has been resolved so far.

Lobby Monitor Stays Black When Turned On (No Zones)Our Solo is having issues on about 50% of mornings now. We turn off the lobby monitor at night and when we come back in, about half the time, the zones will not re-start. The monitor is just black and when we VNC into the Solo, we can't stop the display engine. We have to do a hard re-boot. :(
THEN, it runs fine. :)

We have a Carousel Pro & Cablecast system in our tv control room with this Solo 210 in the lobby connected to the Pro via our network.
I can't go into any more depth as I don't know much of any more. If you need more, I can get our IT guys involved, but you'll have to be specific with any and all info you might want.
This problem is actually quite odd as with prior versions of Carousel, often times, the clock bulletin was the only one that would work when you turned the monitor on in the morning...the others were in black and would not come up. We used to have to re-start the entire machine. Now, it's just the clock..and we only have to re-start the display engine.

Listed in the top of the error window is:
"135261e3-70a7-47cf-bc53-e9077aedca6d
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
External component has thrown an exception."
At least I can quit, and easily re-start the application. Previously, it would just freeze and I'd have to physically turn off the Solo, restart it and it would start up the Display Engine.

Impressions tracking reset?Any way to clear the impressions counters in Carousel? I'd like to have an easy way to keep track month to month.

Not sure what you're talking about with #1 Ray. Tried on my Mac and my PC.
I have 5.2 and when I go in to edit a bulletin, there's no option or ability to update or change the image. I have the ability to re-name the bulletin and hit continue or cancel, then change any parameters I want, but there does not appear to be any functionality to change the image itself.
2 - Not sure what reporting you're talking about as the only think I can figure out is to be in manage bulletins, hit print preview, then print the frames individually...even at that, I have to make sure all the folders are open so that you can see each bulletin.
I'm looking for the ability to print out a report that says this bulletin played this number of times.
3 - thanks
3 - very cool...very helpful, thanks!
4 - thanks

GNCPIO shared an idea in Tightrope Media Systems on October 20, 2008 13:46:
Feature Requests1 - It would be nice to edit a bulletin and have a button to "update image" and upload a new image instead of having to delete the bulletin and start over with adding a whole new bulletin.
2 - It would be nice if we could have reporting similar to Cablecast instead of just listing the info on the bulletin in the "manage bulletins" view.
3 - It would be nicer still if in that reporting, there were an ability to print thumbnails of the bulletins next to the info.
3 - While we're on it, please have interaction with Cablecast so that there is a true reporting of impressions when not in programming via Cablecast (don't count impressions that cycle through while we're in a show since nobody will see them)
4 - Please put tags or categories into the bulletings and give us the ability to do advanced reporting about the slides much as we can do with shows in Cablecast.
I know, lots of requests, but these would make it EVEN MORE valuable to me!

Exception error for time displayWhen we come in in the morning and turn on our lobby monitor, the zones all work fine except the one with the clock displayed. It is blacked and there is an exception error warning. Short of keeping our monitor on all weekend (or at night for that matter), what can we do?
