Adding existing Meetup members to a new event
I had a previous MeetUp event with a group of members. Now i have created a new group, and I want to have certain members automatically enrolled because I know they are already coming. Is there an easy way to do this (because some people just don't go through the trouble to accepting an invite, and instead just email me back, so I want to RSVP for them)...

    Thanks!

OpenTable canceled my DiningPoints without warning!
I have been an OpenTable user for several years now, although haven't actively made reservations from my account in a year (all my recent ones were done by my assistant)... when I went online today to book a reservation, I noticed that OpenTable had automatically canceled all of my DiningPoints, of which I had over 5000, because I hadn't made a reservation in the past 12 months... so, after making over 50 reservations, OpenTable just wipes out my account to zero... no warning email, no communication whatsoever to remind me to stay active by making a reservation. The fine print does say that your points expire if you are inactive for 12 months, but I would think that they would want their customers to accumulate points all the time, as it is a loyalty system... even United Airlines sends me emails reminding me about my frequent flier activity and point levels...

Now, i don't really care that much about DiningPoints (site says that 5000 DiningPoints entitles you to a $50 OpenTable Dining Cheque), but I just found it incredibly cold to see that when I logged in tonight to book a reservation. Had I known that this would happen, I could have easily made a reservation to keep the account active...

I would have thought that a web-centric company like OpenTable would be able to communicate with its loyal users to help them acquire loyalty points (that is what the system is for, I think)...

Has this happened to anyone else?

How do you manage the display order of multiple current jobs?
If you have multiple current positions (such as a main current job, and a current board seat or an advisory position), LinkedIn defaults the display of those positions with the most recently started position first, and the longest term position last. This is a problem if you have several current positions and you want your primary job to be displayed first, as it could even put your current job position below the top three listings (so your current job listing would be in the "see all" expansion section, but not in the default display).

The only way I have found to 'game' this is to put in a phony recent start date for my main job so that it displays before my other current roles.

    Example:

    3 current jobs:
    (a) Manager, Company X (2001-current)
    (b) Board Member, Company Y (2005 - current)
    (c) Advisor, Company Z (2006 - current)

    - would as a default display (c), then (b), then (a), but I would prefer it to be (a), (b), then (c)... to do this, I have to put something like (2007 - current) on job (a) to have it show up first.

Anyone found a simpler (and more accurate) way to manage the display order of current positions?
