I'm on Orange pay as you go. Text messages to Twitter are not taken from your bundles or allowances. They are now charged, currently at 20p per text message. This is a recent change, ie in the last three days or so. So much for "unlimited UK texts".

T-Mobile charge 20p per Twitter text on their "Text appeal" rate which is supposed to be 3p per UK text message. It has nothing to do with the +44 for UK users - the mobile networks have just decided that they want to screw users for money so texting Twitter has become a lot more expensive overnight.

Twitter can't be held responsible for what operators charge their "customers" (When I find a provider who doesn't charge ludicrously to text Twitter, I'm off to join them) but it should make it clear that "UK customers should be aware that the 07624 801423 number is not always charged at the standard UK text rate".

I can't seem to download creatures to my Creature Creator

I've been trying to get other people's creatures from the Sporepedia into my Creature Creator with no luck. I save the PNG file to my desktop, then drag the image into the Creature Creator but nothing seems to happen apart from the creature list refreshing.

I have a load of friends on the isle of man, and text them regularly. I'm on Orange and only ever get charged standard rate.

Don't worry, I've read the many (many, many) questions about why UK users texting to Twitter are charged international rates and I've solved that problem by updating via mobile internet on my phone only when I really have to. So you won't have me complaining. :)

What I would like to know though is, are there any plans to change the UK SMS number that will charge normal text rates?

Still getting this problem. Tried re-installing and re-booting but it's still not working. The only work around I've found is to use Windows Media Player to sync.

DIsregard this problem, I got an email from EA last night and I've now downloaded the Creature Creator.

Why can't I download the full Spore Creature Creator?

A couple days ago, I pre-ordered the full version of the Spore Creature Creator as I wanted to play around with it on the day it was released.

Today, I opened my email account to find no emails telling me where I can download the Creature Creator and all pages on the EA store that might tell me load with errors. I've read on some blogs that other people have the full version already, so I assume only a small amount of people have this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
