I would add this to the previous reply, but it wouldn't show up.
For reference, it should have looked like this.
It seems to be trying to interpret the bracketed "Newegg" as an HTML tag (which it shouldn't, because A) it isn't on the HTML whitelist and B) it obviously isn't an actual HTML tag). After it does that, it seems to be trying to complete the tags (which would be good if they were actual HTML tags).
Typo in the first line of the topic, it should have read: "This is something I encountered while posting another topic." The edit button for the topic seems to have disappeared.

Text surrounded by < and > is interpreted as an HTML tagThis is something I encountered while posting I had to go through and replace all of the greater and less-than symbols in a topic with the HTML entities (& gt; and & lt; (no spaces), respectively) because the original message would have looked like this without them:
This is easiest to illustrate with an example, as I'm unsure whether or not it applies to all special characters.
I have multiple labels that are bracketed with '<' and '>' (e.g. "<newegg>"). When attempting to fetch the messages with each label, Postbox displays an error in the status bar. In the case of the "<newegg>" label: "The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Unknown Mailbox: <newegg></newegg></newegg>

The '>' appears to have been dropped somewhere along the line.
Labels without '<' and '>' function properly.

Slashes in GMail tags treated as folder separatorIf there are slashes in a GMail tag, Postbox treats the slashes as folder separators. (e.g. I have a tag called "<FilePlanet/IGN>". Postbox interprets the "IGN>" after the slash to be a subfolder of "<FilePlanet".)
Neither the parent folder ("<FilePlanet") nor the subfolder ("IGN>") contain the messages with the tag.
I can't confirm the last part because of this issue.
