thanks Joe for the post=] However, I was not able to fix the problem. I don't know, maybe I'm just stupid or something but I couldn't figure out what to do. I'm having the same problem as everyone else, the 203 error. I'm using Windows Vista and Firefox 2.0.0.14 and haven't been able to install add-ons or extensions for like a month now, it's really frustrating. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it a few times but it doesn't seem to do anything. Does anyone have really simple, easy to follow directions because everything else I tried to do was way too complicated for me.

I am going to refer you to this post by Mozilla regarding this specific error.

But first, please try re-installing the latest version of the toolbar, in case it was a temporary problem.

This is on XPSP3, Firefox 2.0.0.14

I am having the same problem. I installed 2.0.0.13 and none of my add ons work. I reinstalled 2.0.0.12 and the addons do not work there either. I keep getting the same installation error code 203 when i try to add an addon. I am really frustrated as I cannot find a solution to my problem. Nothing will install as an add on. I am using windows xp and firefox 2.0.0.13 now. Any help?
