Mhm, BB Flashback seems to do webcam video now. Thanks for the tip safish.
I'd still love to have Silverback for Windows though, if only for the price. – GR, on August 20, 2008 15:57

Morae does a lot more than record the screen and camera. You may call it bloated and expensive.
NB: I didn't test their product. – GR, on August 20, 2008 15:54-

Hi Max, Andy,
I think Max's idea would be a great addition to the product. It wouldn't complexify the interface, it would actually be very very helpful for the test user.
When the users clicks the Stop control, he or she would be presented with the list of tasks, where each task would have a Start button.
Say the tasks are set at the project level. The test organizer runs a dozen tests, where each user reads and clicks the active task before groing trough it. In the end, the organizer could choose to view or export all the recordings of Task 1, from all the test users. It would be awesome.
I hope this makes sense.-

Twinkle pre-AppStore did most of this very well. As for "deliver messages when Twitter is overloaded", Tapolous can be down too. Granted, nothing ever can be down on the same level Twitter is :-) – GR, on July 23, 2008 11:16

Chris, Tristan,
Twhirl can post to Twitter and also pownce and jaiku. However, it does it without asking for an umbrella login, without putting another roadblock between me and the Twitter server, and more importantly, WITHOUT KEEPING MY TWITTER LOGIN AND PASSWORD ON THEIR SERVERS.
I really don't see the point in the Tapulous ID.

OFF TOPIC
Wow, this is a fancy new graphical metaphor: "Spreading butter on your ...finger knowing you can't ...eat it" ? Why would you want to put that buttered finger in your mouth?
Sorry, couldn't help it :-‚ – GR, on July 22, 2008 06:06

Volume setting NOT bind to the host PCThese speakers use USB for input, but also have their own volume dongle, independent of the volume on the host PC, or Mac in my case. So, the integration is far from seamless; you end up with the same double-volumes control scheme as with any 3.5mm jack connection. I really wish I knew this before I shell out.

Looks like Twitter is not quite working right now, regardless where you post from. – GR, on July 21, 2008 13:21
