Grace replied on November 15, 2008 00:55 to the question "Why can't I upload my resume on Simply Hired?" in Simply Hired:
Hi!
You aren't missing anything!
Simply Hired is only a search engine that directs you to job search listings. While some company web sites or job boards may ask you to save or upload a resume in order to apply, you can't save it on your Simply Hired account.
Cheers,
The Simply Hired Team

Hi!
Welcome to the world of job searching!
You've come to the right place if you are looking for a job! SimplyHired.com powers the largest job search engine in the United States. We are not a recruiting or employment agency, but we are here to help!
Here are three quick steps to get you started on your job search process on http://www.simplyhired.com/ :
1. Enter in keywords in the keyword field (job title, job skills, etc.)
2. Enter in a location (city & state or zip)
3. Click "Search" !!!
You will be brought to a results page after hitting the search button. If you are getting too many jobs, simply use the filters on the left to narrow down your choices.
If you see a job you are interested in, simply click on the link for the job & follow the directions for applying found within the listing.
Note: As Simply Hired is not the hiring company for jobs on our site, please do not send resumes and/or contact us for information on the status of an application. You should direct your inquiry directly to the hiring company if you have additional questions.
We wish you the best of luck on your job search!
Cheers,
The Simply Hired Team

Woot woot!
Congratulations on finding a job! We know how difficult job searching can be and we are terribly excited for you!
As for deleting an account, please contact us at http://jol.simplyhired.com/a/our-comp... in order to make your request to close a SimplyHired account.

Note: The request must come from the email address you created the account with (for security reasons).
Additional note: Some users think that creating an email alert=creating an account. If you want to cancel an email alert, simply click on the "stop receiving this alert" link at the bottom of any received email.
Good luck at your new job! We wish you the best of luck!

Grace replied on November 14, 2008 23:47 to the question "Can I get emails notifying me of new jobs?" in Simply Hired:
We'll send you a daily or weekly alert to notify you of new job listings that match your criteria.
All you have to do is:
1. Run a search.
2. Refine the results using job filters.
3. Click on 'Get email alerts for this search' either at the top or bottom of your search results.
4. Enter the email address where you would like to receive the alerts.
5. Once you receive a confirmation email, confirm the alert by clicking on the link and start receiving job alerts!
You can cancel an alert, change the frequency or the destination address at any time in the "my searches" area.
You can also cancel an email alert by clicking on the "Stop receiving this alert" link at the bottom of any received alert.
Thank you! Happy Searching!
