oh gawd, its a personal account. I suppose that answers it... (was sure I've asked you this before too, but couldn't find the answer on here). If that is the problem, then this will shortly be rectified as I'm posting off my biz bank acct. application this afternoon! – Emily, on October 14, 2009 14:24

Activity list is showing old set of activitiesHi, I've just come back from holiday to find that my list of activities in bubbletimer doesn't match the current set that I am working on. It looks like a configuration of activities that I was using 6 months ago.
Last date I updated Bubbletimer was 08-28-2009. When I go to it today, 09-07-2009, the list doesn't include my current activities. I find that going back to the 09-01-2009 has the right list, but from 09-02-2009 onwards the list is wrong.
I guess I'm going to have to recreate my current list manually -which is a real pain, but doable- but I thought I should report this here.

bubbles won't fill in, only set as 'planned (00:00)My computer's date and time says Tuesday 25th August 00:35 but Bubbletimer thinks it is still monday and will only let me fill in first half hour of today's bubbles as planning (like for the future*). it also still shows the "go to today" link when I'm looking at today/tuesday.
(*Believe me, I would never plan to track time in the middle of the night, it just happens to me sometimes!!)

Just filled in some bubbles which suddenly reappear empty until refreshThis has been happening for a while but I haven't posted cos I just couldn't really explain the parameters. It always seems to happen while I'm not looking. So I'll have a go.
1. I fill in some bubbles of time.
2. I go to another tab (? maybe?) in my browser (or switch to a different app?)
3. I return to bubbletimer and those bubbles I just filled in are empty again.
4. "Huh?!"
5. I refresh the page and the checked bubbles come back complete.
Firefox version 3.5.2 (though its been happening a couple months, so probably during other minor versions)

Firefox 3.0.12. Have just tried 'turning [the browser] off and on again' ;) and it is still not working. It works in Safari fine. I have a billion plugins installed too, so it is probably a conflict with one of those (recently updated). I'll let you know if I identify which one.
Thanks for your speedy response :)

I'm on Firefox 3.0.10 and today the links are just not working. they're getting converted into the fancy layout and the A tag is still in the source but is no longer inactive. I have had to uninstall power twitter.
@rrchapman - i think you are being a little harsh - yes Twitter is simple, but the reason we like Power Twitter is because it adds 'bells and whistles' to the simple interface, making the Twitter experience media rich.

Cripes, that sounds incredibly generous Sean, thank-you! I'm glad you got it sorted. I had only just started to use the planning bubbles else I would have noticed this sooner. I'm surprised nobody else flagged this - I guess either noone else is using them, or everyone else is actually sticking to their plans!
A comment on the question "How do *you* use Bubble Timer?" in Snooty Monkey:
Sean's forthcoming features
"auto-completion of activity names on add and joining them up with their previous instance means you can more freely delete activities that you won't be doing for a bit of time. Categories with collapse will also help you to find the activity quickly as well."
sound fantastic - I've just been dealing with the unwieldy long list too, but was worrying about deleting activities because I might not name them the same next time and then I'd have no continuity, so you've totally answered my worry. I look forward to the categorisation and all this new stuff! – Emily, on April 28, 2009 11:19

hi josh, are you using the future planning functionality by any chance? I've just noticed my reports aren't making any sense either (12:00 - 13:30 = 2h, 30m [wrong!]) but I noticed that this is because I had planned to do more of that task and filled in hours ahead of time, but I hadn't deleted those estimates when I did something else instead.
So it seems there is a bug where the reports add up the planning time allocation as well as the actual time spent. Obviously those planning times should be ignored at the reporting stage.
