Add field titles for login?

Do you want to label the entry fields for login (e.g. user name, or email address) to remove ambiguity? Or does the first field accept either one?

Thanks for letting us know. We're aware of the age problem and are working on it. (Weeks are easy to display accurately. Months are tricky because of the variable length of months; so sometimes the rounding is confusing. But we're working to make it more intuitive.)

And you 're the first to catch the date glitch with recording a milestone. We'll figure out what's going on and fix it.

Hi Laura. I'm sad to say you're right. The same thing is happening in Firefox for Windows XP. We'll figure out what's gone wrong and get it working again.

I'm sorry for the hiccup. I'm afraid I don't know what caused it. Can you try uploading the one that never finished processing to see if it is that particular video that is hanging?

Sorry to hear about this! Has it happened to more than one video, or is this the only one? (Although the processing time varies with the length of video, it should take only a few minutes. So at 5 days there's definitely a problem.)

Wondering what photo and video formats to use on Tumblon? Here is what we recommend:

Photo: JPEG or PNG

Video: Quicktime, MPEG-4, M4V, MP4, Ogg, WMV

Have you tried another format that doesn't work? Let us know, and we'll see if we can support it, or list it as "unsupported."

One last question: Do you think hitting "show more" several times is better (more intuitive) than having the age nav that is on the tumblon.com/milestones page? Or would you like to see that nav for child and simply add one more choice that is "show more"? – Graham, on May 14, 2009 13:28

No problem. Our intent on the child milestone pages is to allow you to preview and review milestones close to the age of the child. (I have a 10 week old too, so I see the same range!)

If you want to browse milestones, the best place to do it is http://tumblon.com/milestones. You can filter by any criteria, and record milestones for any of your children - provided the milestone is not too far off. (If the milestone is too distant, like "jumps on both feet" for a 10 week old, there is a note that says, "[Child's name] isn't old enough yet!"

Hi richandjess. Are you talking about browsing future or past milestones for a child? You're right that on the child page you only browse recent past and upcoming future milestones (e.g. for a 12 week old, you see months 1-2 for past and 3-6 for future). But it doesn't appear to me that it is limiting it to 12 milestones. Can you help me understand what's not working? – Graham, on May 12, 2009 17:42

Good question. The only reason it isn't available is because it is still in development.
