Perhaps it's worth exploring a fix for this, since it is what everyone uses. Other web based WYSIWYG editors often have functions to remove all formatting. I've even seen "remove Word formatting" option on some.

People are used to having this option. Wordpress (free and open source) has a 'remove formatting' button on the toolbar, as do most webmail editors I've seen.

A more user-proof option might be to only past plain text, rather than formatted text, but I can't think of anywhere I've actually seen this implement.

Customer idea: "I would like to have the offline donations as well as the registration fees included in the totals as they are reported on the non-profit's main page. There could be a note that says $XXX amount is from offline donations and must be verified before totals are finalized."

"I am not a fan of online giving. Having used it for the first time however, I now realize Firstgiving is a very effective fundraising tool. By coupling the web page with a large scale email outreach effort I reached nearly 200 people that I would never have had the chance to ask in person. Admittedly people gave partly because they know and trust me and partly because they support the organization I was fundraising for. But I never would have had the time to reach out to them or do a mailing, so really, the email and web based donating capacity probably let me raise $1,500 more than I normally would have been able to."
