A comment on the question "Wordpress: Comment Count gone" in IntenseDebate:

FYI: I have "Wordpress Standard Comment Links" enabled because Internet Explorer refuses to load comment count numbers when "IntenseDebate Enhanced Comment Links" in enabled.

I would obviously prefer "IntenseDebate Enhanced Comment Links" but

1) #'s Won't load on front page in Internet Explorer

Yep, already have that function in my template, Michael.

For some reason some comments just aren't taken into account when the number of comments are displayed on my front page.

The numbers are off, don't know how else to explain it.

I have the same problem as Diane (running Wordpress: GrassrootsPA.com).

Some of my posts aren't counting any comments, and others have less comments being counted than actually exist.

Not having this exact issue but a comment or two a day from some regular commenters gets held in moderation.

The thing weirdest about this is I have ALL these boxes unchecked:

-All comments must be approved by an administrator
-Commenters must signup with Intense Debate before posting
-Comment author must have a previously approved comment

I don't get it. Shouldn't every single comment automatically go up, especially from regular commenters?

My readers and myself keep finding ourselves logged in one minute and logged out seconds later when viewing another thread of comments.

Not working for me either.

Just a suggestion, but the interface with the green and red buttons is sorta confusing.

Any chance you can better clarify/show users if this feature is enabled?

My readers are reporting a similar issue today (I noticed it myself as well).

One second I'm logged in, but when I visit another comment thread I find myself logged out.

Not sure whats causing it, but others have reported having this issue today as well.

nbostic's reply to "Facebook Connect." was just promoted to the most useful! GrassrootsPA and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.

To say that it's not even on the list is quite appalling. I can understand if you've prioritized other ideas, but to not even have it on the list is absurd.
