Much smaller "X Comments By X Readers" Widget similar to Feedburner ChicletHey Guys,
How about a MUCH smaller "X Comments By X Readers" Widget similar to the little Feedburner Chiclet?
I'm thinking you make it the same exact length (maybe a bit taller to fit all the text)
Love you guys, but the current "X Comments By X Readers" Widget is kinda big. Would be great if it was kinda similar to the smaller Feedburner/Feedblitz icons/Chiclets.
Oh yeah, please consider dropping the "IntenseDebate" hyperlink below the icon.
Instead, why not simply hyperlink the "X Comments By X Readers" Chiclet to an Intense Debate Comment feed for each blog rather than simply hyperlinking it to IntenseDebate.org?
Heck, even if you dropped that "IntenseDebate" link below the icon/Chiclet entirely and simply hyperlinked the icon/Chiclet to IntenseDebate.org it would be an improvement!

Invite commenters to sign-up for Intense Debate via email (dashboard link or box imput)Hey guys,
How about a feature under the IntenseDebate dashboard, Wordpress comment moderation dashboard, or main ID website allowing us to email folks invitations to signup for Intense Debate by clicking a button, clicking a dashboard link, or simply imputing their email.
The commenter getting the email would click on a supplied link to the ID website and pick a user name/password to go with their email, flesh out their profile, blam...DONE.
I have some readers who love to leave comments who aren't exactly internet savvy. (They keep trying to register by commenting with a name and email, and think this is all they need to do to register, never completing the email confirmation step...want to prod them along and signup properly!)
This way we could invite them via email, they signup when they get the email, they fill in their profile right there, etc.
Any thoughts on this?
Basically email inviters would be speeding up the email confirmation process.
You could even include a feature in the Wordpress dashboard under the Comment Moderation section with a link to click to "invite this person to signup for Intense Debate"-

GrassrootsPA asked a question in IntenseDebate on January 10, 2009 04:52:
How do you align the "X Comments By X Readers Widget" Right or Left?Hey guys,
This is probably really easy.
Tried to figure out how to do this with your widget css but it's over my head.
How would one align the "X Comments By X Readers Widget" Right or Left?
I want to place this in the general header area above my blog posts floating/aligning to the right near my Feedburner signup and email signup gear but the widget keeps popping up centered even though the "div align=right" works on positioning everything else right.
I'm guessing I need to do something to the widget css to allow me to align it.
Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Isaac. The URL is GrassrootsPA.com
The avatar doesn't stay fuzzy when you revisit the strand. Have not been able to figure the rhyme or reason re: when to expect it to happen.
That particular one happened right after I posted a reply (wanted to screen capture it before I forgot).
Hope this helps improve your ID!-

Occasionally get fuzzy/blurry/grainy Avatars.Hey guys,
Been using ID since around Christmas time and loving it. Great job fixing the recent spam problem btw.
This isn't a huge problem but occasionally the ID avatars on my site appear fuzzy/blurry/grainy.
The weird thing about this is I might have the same exact avatar 2 comments above or below and it will appear absolutely perfect. (See this attached image)
Doesn't happen all the time but enough that I notice it...
