Greg shared an idea in NeighborGoods on August 07, 2009 16:38:
Add a profile completion progress tracker. In addition to the FAQ, it might be helpful to have a progress tracker on the dashboard, something akin to LinkedIn. That way people are aware of the steps they have left to take to complete their profile. 10% just signing in. 10% uploading a photo. 10% adding 5 friends/neighbors. 10% listing 3 items. 10% adding to the wishlist. 10% getting verified. 10% borrowing something from a neighbor. What I'm seeing right now is a lot of people I invited have just a name and maybe 1 item listed. And in talking to a couple people in the default world, they just aren't aware that they need a photo or that they should invite someone new. It may seem obvious to those who are used to Facebook and other social networking sites, but as this will appeal to folks who have no use for Facebook, a little more hand-holding may grow the network faster.

Dude looks like a ladyNeighborgoods does not distinguish gender, so when a woman is sharing her stuff with me, it says "his" stuff. Might want to have a box to tick on the profile to get rid of that.-

How does Safe House income work?Exactly how does Safe House Income get credited to your account? It doesn't seem to happen with every refresh, nor does it appear to be the amount listed. And if you sell a safe house back, do you get full market value?
