This is just sad, not that I know but is it hard to just support .m4a files? I have been stuck using the completely crappy Nokia music for the past few months and last week discovered DoubleTwist which works (but is not as flexible as songbird)
This is the 1st time I've started songbird in a month but still have no use for it as it doesn't sync properly

I think you have the same problem as me where songs in aac format can't sync. their just skipped.

Why is still a problem after 11 months?
My Nokia N81 8GB has full support mp3 and aac but in songbird, only the mp3's are synced.
Any help?
