G. R. Lucas set one of G. R. Lucas' replies as an official response to "Get this website together please!!!!!" in LitMUSE
G. R. Lucas replied on June 24, 2009 07:02 to the question "Get this website together please!!!!!" in LitMUSE:
It's a "mess"? It's the web site's fault, right?
Are you trying to use a Yahoo or Hotmail account? Those will not work. If you're trying to login without first verifying your account, you will not be able to. Perhaps you typed in your email address incorrectly? If you still can't get it to work, you might email your full name to: admin@litmuse.net
G. R. Lucas marked one of Sascha Brossmann's replies in Postbox, Inc. as useful. Sascha Brossmann replied to the idea "auto-populate topics with gmail labels". G. R. Lucas and 5 other people think it's one of the best replies.

G. R. Lucas reported a problem in Get Satisfaction on April 13, 2009 00:02:
Porn SpamWow, what a shock. I received (as did my small support community) a pretty explicit piece of spam to my educational support site, LitMUSE. I think this might be a good reason why Get Satisfaction may not work for me:
1. I cannot delete offensive comments. I can see why you do not allow companies to do so, but this is a big problem for educational uses.
2. Spammers. What are you doing about these bottom feeders?
You guys deleted the comment for me fairly quickly, but not being able to immediately remove illegitimate posts is certainly making me reconsider using your site. These sorts of posts getting through makes me look bad (at best) and could have legal implications (at worst).
I want to keep using your site, but I'm worried about my lack of admin control.
G. R. Lucas marked one of LitMUSE FAQ's replies in LitMUSE as useful. LitMUSE FAQ replied to the question "What is plagiarism?".
G. R. Lucas replied on April 07, 2009 17:14 to the question "What is plagiarism?" in LitMUSE:
Turn It In, a plagiarism prevention service, is used in evaluation of written work submitted for my courses. I will often require students to submit or have their assignments submitted through the service in order to meet requirements for a course. See you specific course requirements. The papers may be retained by the service for the sole purpose of checking for plagiarized content in future student submissions.

Dr. Gerald R. Lucas asked a question in Cox Communications on April 04, 2009 00:26:
Why does Cox think I'm a criminal? Why do I need to have a Cable card with my TiVo? Why are you charging me $30 to have a "technician" come out to my house to install it? I know you guys don't want me using a DVR that is not yours, but I pay you enough already for spotty service.
Why do you think I'm a criminal? Shouldn't you make it easy for me to use your expensive service? I'm getting very tired of this.
