You can use skype to recommend interesting files to friends over skype. Or you can use skype to invite new users. But this feature is atm deactivated for Linux. The next update changes that.

Is this still broken? Trying to integrate Skype through Wuala crashes Wuala for me, on OS X 10.5.4. I'm signed into Skype when I attempt to connect through Wuala, just like it says.

Currently, inviting skype contacts is only for the Windows client available. We had to disable it for Linux and Mac as it does not always works (for some reasons it works on my Ubuntu 8.04 installation perfectly, but not on others...). I hope we can fix that with one of the next releases.
