Jeep finds a way to not have to pay for repairs and dishonor warrenty
My dad bought a New Jeep in 2001, the Jeep began to have problems ever since the ownership of the vehicle. The recent problem, one that went on for over one year was that it would not hold water. My dad had to put antifreeze and water in the radiator ever month, not a lot, but about a liter. Vehicles should rarely need water, except for extreme tempertures but we live in WA so there is no need for it. My dad took it to the Jeep service center several times but they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Like I said, this went on for year, but they could never find anything wrong with it. A few weeks ago, the Jeep's engine light came on, my dad took it back to the service center and they said that the Jeep's head gasket blough. Conveinetly just a few months after the Warrenty expired, when he had been taking it in for water leakage (which is a sign of a blown head gasket) for quite some time. He called the customer service number and they said they couldn't help him. It is over a $3,000 repair. And of course the dealership in Auburn, WA had figuared out a way to have to pay for it. I know that my dad loves his Jeep dispite all of the problems he has had with it. He is going to repair. I use to want one myself, I think I will buy something by Hyundai or Kia they seem to have a lot better vehicles and when you do have problems they figuare out a way to repair it. If it the problem ran over to the out of warrenty area.

I believe that big corporation stores like Target count on you loosing your reciept. They don't care about comsumers or customer service. Most of them see it as there is more of "yous" were you came from and they bank on it every year. As their profits go up, they care less and less about the comsumer. The only way to stop this is to stop buying from big store changes.

    grseaturtles
I agree. I think Walmart made a big mistake when they got rid of their Layaway. I use to layaway thier, and because payments was due every other week, I got all of my needs there, too. I must have spent nearly 2 to 3 hundred dollars a month plus the layaways which in the all in all of things after holidays was in the thousands of dollars. Now, I might spend $100 in the last year. This year will be even less do to not really worth the drive any more, not if they don't have layaway.

    Extremely poor customer sevice!!
Poor customer serivice. Extremly long lines. Wittnessed disabled people standing in them. Wrong medications given to me on one occasion. Often times the prescriptions are not ready or they don't have the full 30 days supply. Their faxed Rx's go to corporate in I think they said Ney York or some thing like that, so they don't get them right away. Usally the piont to faxing in a Rx is that you can get it refilled faster. Expected a long wait if the Rx was faxed.
