Wrong Unison (Panic vs. file-synchronization tool)There is no such thing as Unison 2.32.12 from Panic. This Unison is a completely different utility. http://alan.petitepomme.net/unison/in... vs. http://www.panic.com/unison/.

Can't connect with Twitter to add friendsShenanigans! I am able to authorize Gowalla with Twitter, but I can't add friends -- maybe because my account there is protected?
I just get an error from http://gowalla.com/friends/twitter

More than one Flickr account?I'd like to request multiple account support.
As a work-around, if I have both the free and premium versions of the app installed, can I use different Flickr accounts on each one?

Looks like someone has imported the Git Bundle from TextMate (http://is.gd/MvT5), but I've not tried it yet. The other option is to keep a Coda terminal window open to issue your commands. Integrated git would be super awesome.-

gtcaz replied on February 11, 2009 05:41 to the problem "OS X client uploading thousands of files, don't know from where or why" in Sharpcast:
OK, an update. Somehow a copy of my Documents folder, with 3 vmware machines and a ton of OmniFocus backup files was placed (this morning) inside a subfolder that was being synced.
Now I put that folder in the trash and told SS to delete it, but it's uploading it as it's deleting it, and it looks like it's going to take forever. Is there any way to stop it from uploading all these files I've already placed in the trash??
A comment on the problem "OS X client uploading thousands of files, don't know from where or why" in Sharpcast:
Yes, the uploads window shows all the files (like 20k), but not what folder they're being uploaded from. It's not anything in my current sync list. I may have added my home folder, then removed it. My theory is although I removed it, some hidden or leftover folder is still being uploaded. – gtcaz, on February 11, 2009 04:11

@onions
Rsyncing a static file is very different from rsyncing a DB file that is constantly changing. Are you saying that's how you're currently "backing up" your production mysql servers?
Besides, thats besides the point. Larry HAD a hot copy which was corrupted because well apparently the "rsync" (I'm sure he wasn't using that but for argument's sake) copied over the corruption.
Hence you always need to be keeping distinct copies of 500GB data sets and that gets unwieldly quickly.
On another note... I wonder what the terms were for the "paid" subscribers... are they getting the remainder of their subscription back or the full amount?

gtcaz reported a problem in Sharpcast on February 10, 2009 18:14:
OS X client uploading thousands of files, don't know from where or whyI added a few subfolders from my Documents folder, and the SugarSync manager now says there are thousands of files it's uploading, but doesn't say from where or why. They look like backup folders or files (maybe from a hidden directory of a vmware image bundle? I see thousands of little zip files with long names and some references to vmware), but I didn't add any of those and can't find out the source of the files or make the uploads stop.
If I go to the file transfer window, it doesn't show any source directory for these.
Any ideas? Did I somehow add a hidden folder that I now can't see or remove from the sync list?
