Guessed replied on February 24, 2009 11:41 to the question "Call not recording automatically, or manually" in TalkShoe:
Dave
Yes, this does appear to be the case, the call was being recorded, although there was no indication of it being recorded for the duration of the call..
I was talking with a friend later on yesterday and they told me that there was in fact a call recorded and available. The system told me several times that there was an error when trying to manually start the recording, however, there was no indication that the call was actually being recorded on the TS Live Pro application during the call.
Thank you for checking into this.

Guessed asked a question in TalkShoe on February 23, 2009 11:40:
Call not recording automatically, or manuallyTalkshoe Live Pro, calling in with SJPhone.
When starting the call it is set to automatically start recording, but it does not do so. Clicking on Start to manually begin recording brings up an error "Recording failed to start! Please try the following actions" I have tried the suggestions, but to no avail.

Guessed replied on February 21, 2009 09:01 to the question "how do I connect to Talkshoe using ekiga?" in TalkShoe:
Hello bigvig209
Please go to your Call Series page using the Firefox Browser, start the call from there using the web client interface, or if you prefer, the Talkshoe Live Pro application.
Now start the Ekiga VoIP client, type sip:66.212.134.192 into the box and click the connect button, when you hear prompt for call ID, click in the number buttons with your mouse including the # key, when you hear the prompt to enter your PIN, click in the number buttons with your mouse including the # key, you will now join the call as the host.

Hello
I think this answers your question about the number of callers connected... "up to 300 people simultaneously on every individual call", taken from:

When you are logged-in on the TalkShoe site, go to the web series page of the call, then please click on "Follow This Call" on the right... or alternatively, click this link > http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/...
The call will now be listed on your profile page under "Calls followed by this user" which you can click on when you are logged-in.

Streaming audio problemHello
Streaming audio is not working at the moment. I've rebooted the computer and tried both Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.
Guessed replied on December 20, 2008 21:14 to the question "Record Call But Recording Not Available To Public" in TalkShoe:
Only invited parties can join in or listen to your Unlisted Group Calls. They are not available through the public directory. However, two key points: Anyone specifically invited to any one of your Unlisted Community Calls receives a link to your Unlisted Community Call area and can listen to anything in it. Further, someone could guess your Unlisted Community Call ID. If you have sensitive recorded information, we recommend you hide that specific episode from being downloaded by the public

Hello Andrew
Please have a look on my call page for some detailed step by step instructions on what you need to do and how to call in using SJphone, or Gizmo:
http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/...
Click on the word ... "more" (just to the right of the avatar/picture) to expand all the information.
If you find you can not connect using the new version of SJphone after following all the directions, please see the following topic for further details of using an earlier version of the program:

I hope this helps you to connect into TalkShoe.
Kind regards

Guessed replied on November 17, 2008 13:40 to the question "SJ Phone setup? help...!" in TalkShoe:
Hello Vespa
You do not have to pay to download or use SJphone, the call into TalkShoe using SJphone is also free. It might be that the new version of SJphone is not compatible with your region or system, what does often work is to try and use the earlier version 1.60, which is available to download from here:
http://www.msitgroup.co.uk/support/in...
Once downloaded and installed, go through the same steps as you would if you were setting up the newer version, so click on Settings/Options (in the center, it looks like a screwdriver), Click "Profiles", Click the line in the white box which says "SIP", then click on "Edit", Click "DTMF", change the setting for Send DTMF as: to "In-band", click "OK" and click "OK" again to save your setting changes.
To create a TalkShoe PIN, please log-in to TalkShoe and then click on "MyTalkShoe" at the to to go to your profile page. On the left, click on "PIN", enter the number in the space provided and finally click on "Update Phone/PIN".
To call into TalkShoe, go to the web page of the call of your choice, scroll down to the bottom of the page so you can see the "CALL IN" information at the bottom of the screen. On the SJphone interface, enter the following into the number entry field (just above the telephone icon):
SIP:talkshoe@66.212.134.192
Now click on the telephone icon to connect into TalkShoe and when asked by the female voice to enter the CALL ID, look at the bottom of the web page for the CALL ID number and your PIN, click with your mouse on the numbers to enter the CALL ID and then the pound/hash key #, do the same when asked to enter your PIN number, not forgetting the # key, you will then join the call.
I hope you are more successful with version 1.60 of SJphone
Kind regards
Guessed
