Guido replied on November 14, 2008 12:23 to the question "What is error 20013" in Joost:
Heya,
Well, error 20013 occurs if the player is unable to locate the content on our servers. This is a problem our side!
If you send us an email on feedback@joost.com, reporting this error, please also provide us the url to the show, so we can investigate it.
In the mean time, you should be able to watch other shows, until we've sorted out the error.
Cheers, Guido
A comment on the discussion "Webbased Joost, you like it?" in Joost:
Hey Chaser7016. The easiest is probably to search for joost.plugin via spotlight. Press 'show all' and then delete it straight from spotlight. Hope that helps. – Henrk Werdelin, on October 24, 2008 08:54

Hi Gabriel,
Luckily one of my colleagues was able to translate your question! You want to now, I heard, where Joost stands at the moment?
Well, we have some really exciting things coming up for you! Besides tons of cool content, we're currently running tests on our new webbased player!
It;s going to be awesome, I can tell you that :-)

To Guido from Bill:
I turned off the browser as you suggested to install. When I tried to run the program I got: "C:/program/joost/xulrunner/tvpjsbin.dll is not a valid windows image;" then another message in a grey and white box: "TVPrunner has encountered a problem and has to close." Any suggestions?

Joost Player for Linux? All the responses to our previous message about not making a Linux version of the Joost Player as it exists today, really got to us. As one of our product managers told you already on the forum, a lot of the development on the Joost player is done using Linux. But, the truth is, we will not release a Joost Player, as we know it today, for Linux.
Most of you will have caught on with the news... We are working on a web based version of the Joost Player! Obviously, that's keeping us busy 8 days a week, but the good news is that it will be available for Linux as well! It will arrive after the Windows/Mac version, but we will get there!

Do not pay for Joost, it's free! We've received some emails from the Joost community about sites that are selling Joost software, either on a stand-alone basis or bundled with other software. These sites are NOT, I repeat, NOT associated with Joost. Joost is and always has been free to users - many places on www.joost.com indicate that Joost is free! You should not have to pay to use the Joost software.
Please beware of sites that are selling Joost. If you find one of these sites, please let us know about it immediately, by posting on this thread or sending an email to support@joost.com. If you have already paid for Joost through one of these sites, please contact that site and demand a refund.
