Me too. Lost over 200, trying to add them manually but it is going to take a while. Many Friends gone, replace with spambots I'd previously blocked. Not. Happy.

I'm a little amused that most people are more worried about their number of followers, rather than losing their friends in this debacle.

Thanks for the update. My accounts have been impacted by a 30% drop. i'd say this is more than " slightly different". I am hearing of other people report of 50% drops. should we expect this stuff to be restored, or are they lost?

crystal, thanks but the numbers still aren't accurate, I was following about 800 people and had 903 followers, but my account is showing following - 696 and followers - 756. Twitter name - jbruin & I do use my iPhone 3G for sending tweets and device updates, although I haven't gotten a device update in about a week & I have notifications on for several people. – jbruin, on July 24, 2008 16:17

My followers and followed was fine last night, this morning i've lost about 2/3 of the people I'm following and about the same amount of followers...

Please let me know if I'll ever see them back on my lists.

@Quevin lost at least 70 "Following" and "Followers." Gonna suck if I have to re-request for all these people. Verified my phone weeks ago, but IM is not an option. Just disappeared weeks ago.

Is Twitter so unreliable? Either it bugs-out when you click "Follow" every time, or you lose everyone you know. Never heard of this happening on Facebook, Friendfeed or any other...

yep - ALL of my followings and followers are GONE. wiped clean.

how do I feel about this? the emoticons don't really cover it. Worse - no communication/alert from Twitter about these issues. exceedingly unprofessional.

please restore asap.

1) unsernames = cartoontomb & cartoon_tomb 2) no phone activity whatsoever By adding my data to the "I want to be informed" list, I couldn't log in with my correct mail-address and password, so I just filled in my data on the left hand side of the form, resulting in getting the information that my account "cartoontomb" had now been created and that a password would be sent to me. Mine hasn't been fixed either. I lost every person I was following and all but 1 follower. I have the same complaint as Missjessicalee.
