GYehuda reported a problem in Washington Mutual on June 09, 2009 02:49:
I'm profoundly dissatisfied with WAMUI have sent in a set of forms 4 times. Each time I call to verify if they were received -- and I'm told they were. Two weeks later I check in and they tell me that the forms are lost. LOST! Each time I call I get inconsistent advise (they will call me? I will have to call back? which one?). Today I got a letter from them with incorrect information, so I called to follow up and the customer service rep tells me to ignore the letter, it's standard for them to do this! Isn't banking a regulated industry? I'm shocked at the treatments I have been getting from WaMu. I cannot emphasize how strongly I'd recommend against being a customer. Now to contact the BBB.

Of course, however, I get a list of 20 companies sorted by the ones with most recent activity -- and then see there are 149 such pages of 20 companies each. I don't want to click and scroll 148 times. So yes, there is a list, but it's not in any directory. And yes, I also see the 10 most recent additions. All nice, but not as helpful as a directory.
Consider at least and alphabetical list or better yet, some sort of taxonomy (retail, Internet, service, etc.), or a tag cloud (folksonomy), rather than a list sorted by recent activity. If you already have this, then let me know, I cannot seem to find the link.
How this would help: 1. I might want to discover if a company I care about is using this service -- and they may not be brand new (in the recent 10) or recently active (how many times should I click next page)?
2. Would be nice to see if x out of y companies in a particular category are using this service. It would be more apparent if someone was "missing" from the list.
3. You can start to publish stats on activity, time-to-resolution, or number of complaints, etc. and compare companies with those in similar categories (e.g. auto companies).

Can you set up a Get Satisfaction for Lands' End please. Why? Because the customer experience with Lands' End differs from that of Sears.

GYehuda shared an idea in Twitter on December 01, 2008 18:05:
More info in the email notification of followersWhen I get an email about someone following me I just get:
Hi, <myname>.
<someone> is now following your updates on Twitter.
Check out <someone>'s profile here: http://twitter.com/<someone>
Best, Twitter
I'd love to see the last five tweets that <someone> sent, in order to get a sense of who this <someone> is. Also include their avatar and whatever link they included in their profile. This will save me the extra click to get information about who the person was.
Would then be nice to have a link to "follow back" -- since I'll have information to determine if I really want to follow back. thanks.</someone></someone></someone></someone></someone></myname>-
GYehuda started following the idea "Intergration with Yammer" in Seesmic.
