hani replied on September 18, 2009 07:17 to the question "Notify.me won't work" in notify.me:
Alright, we've identified the issue, there is a bug on our side which we need to address.
You currently have a time range specified for when you would like to receive SMS messages, if you disable the time range you will see that sms icon glowing for sources that you've routed to SMS. If you readd the time range for SMS message delivery and the current time is not within that range the SMS icon will no longer glow. Rest assured, despite the icon not glowing those sources will in fact be routed to SMS during the specified time.
We will fix this issue shortly. Thank you for your patience, we hope you are enjoying the service.
Cheers,
-Hani

hani replied on September 17, 2009 04:17 to the problem "Gtalk bot: Athena is offline. No notifications. Error on site in history." in notify.me:
Hello Justin,
Thanks for reporting these issues. The error on the notification history page is something that we are aware of, currently the work around is to give the page a little time to load.
Looking at our logs we are unable to see your jabber account online from our bot. Are you still experiencing the issue? By default we do provide you with a jabber account if you are experiencing a problem with your gmail jabber account perhaps you can remove the gmail jabber account and use the <your>@notify.me jabber account provided?

Hello Natasha,
This feature is currently on the back burner while we focus on the product. I'll update this thread once we move forward with implementing it. – hani, on September 17, 2009 04:09

Hello drchristopher,
This getsatisfaction forum is for http://notify.me related issues not for craiglist issues. Please report your problem to Craiglist. FYI, I have no problem getting to Pittsburgh CL with Firefox.
Best of luck,

If you've got pidgin working with your google talk account, you can simply make your IM destination the google talk address, for example jondoe@gmail.com can be your destination address.
Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers,

hani posted an update in notify.me on August 19, 2009 02:39:
notify.me desktop applicationNot everybody wants all notifications to automatically be routed to the desktop AIR application. So we've disabled the desktop application as a default destination. If you would like to receive messages on the desktop application, go to the source listing page at http://notify.me/user/source/list and click the app icon so that it glows for each source that you would like to receive notifications on the desktop application.
Cheers,
Team notify.me
